Thanks for this thread. I have used this method to install several of my games after I was unable to get disc2app to work. I am having some trouble with the DLC though. For example, I downloaded Smash Bros with the update and DLC. When installing with WUP Installer, I will do one folder at a time. First I install the game itself, then the update, then I will attempt the DLC but it gives me an error each time saying that I need to verify the files.
This is the problem with several games DLC. What am I doing wrong or what can I do differently?
The issue I see is that I think some people are simply incapable of understanding nuance. This forum does not condone piracy. If you admit to piracy and we notice it, you will be banned. We are not interested in links to material that can facilitate piracy. But we stop short of thinking that it's our job to enforce IP laws and shake down anyone that we suspect might be pirating something. The question I would ask is 'do you think it's possible that someone might legally own the software and hardware in question and still be interested in an emulated version just due to the possibilities that emulation allows?' This is a rhetorical question as the answer is obviously 'yes.'
This is a legitimately interesting topic of conversation. Plenty of real, honest, paying consumers are also interested in Breath of the Wild (and Wii U games in general) being emulated. Do they outnumber the pirates? But that's not our concern. That's where I'm at. I haven't bought the game yet because I don't want to contend with the Wii U's performance issues and I can't find a Switch available anywhere. Which version I purchase first depends on how fast CEMU moves vs how fast Nintendo ships more Switch units.
I can deal with a few dips in Portable mode, but the levels reported for the Wii U version don't work for me.I really hope this is ready sooner rather than later. It'd be great if we see some great CPU deals simultaneously so I can upgrade my rig on the cheap.

Not sure if I want to read through the old thread. Maybe this, or something similar, should be the first post in every emulation related thread.Quite excited to return to the game with the performance it deserves later on when I feel like I've waited long enough. I'm very glad I didn't buy a Switch for it right now, though I kinda feel like maybe I should've waited and just played the thing from beginning on the emulator.Oh well. From what I have heard, Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D Land are reported to be pretty much flawless. Most games are. Frustratingly close to perfection. Wind Waker, for example, is absolutely perfect except for some crackling / clipped audio and the Picto Box photos all showing up as black. I REALLY WISH IT WERE AN OFFICIAL OPTION BECAUSE IT'S BADASS.? — Max Lebled (@MaxLebled)Here's how Zelda's new model sounds, as recorded by fans.

Updating to 5.5.3 in the future might be difficult once Nintendo releases a new update. So I have a few questions on this. To start I'm running on 5.5.1 and I have a FAT32 formatted SD card with all the necessary files. I also shut down the Wii U's ability to update via the DNS. Yet I still run into some problems.1) Should I have my SD card inserted before I run the exploit, or does it need to run the exploit first?2) I am also getting a black screen upon running the exploit, but I am not sure if the black screen is because I am doing it right or wrong. I decided to fill up my browser cache, but I am not sure how much I should exactly do that. I went to about 8 different sites but I don't know if I need to do it more.
Breath Of The Wild Switch Mods
It is just unsettling to think I may have to sit here 50+ times when it may not be set up correctly. Should the black screen sit and linger a bit or should the exploit run immediately.3) I feel as though I am missing a step somewhere. I know the kernel exploit involves terminal commands and this seems to not require such steps.4) As of June 5th, is the exploit still up and running?
I know this was updated in May but anything could have happened in a month's time.
